Ok, so ever since probably August I have been going on Ebay, Amazon, and Craigs List looking for one game: FFVII. I have never seen FFVII for less than fifty dollars, and I know that I wouldn't be able to get it if it were that low because there're fifty other people biding on it.
I'm seriously desperate! Does anyone know where to find it for LOWER than $50 USDs?!?!

There's loads of the game on the UK eBay for under £5... I know that's not much use to you, but there's bound to be an NTSC copy turn up sooner or later. If that does happen, I'll let you know. If Square Enix has any left (which I doubt since it's old) I'll send you a copy. :) Don't get your hopes up though man.

heh... man... Shoulda asked me sooner... I just gave away my extra copy away to a friend to keep. Since they only had the first disk... I had re-bought the game on e-bay for like $10 Canadian and got the shipping free.. I was lucky. The guy sent it for me for free cause he was told it was for my birthday.. *I didn't buy it* Man, was I happy. You just have to wait for it to show up.

Search for some kind of torrent to download the game for PC. It's free and it works great. FFVII isn't worth paying money for with such shoddy graphics now days, what with people selling them for such a steep price. It's blasphemous.

Well there are some going for less than that on ebay. I'd offer to let you borrow mine, but you live to far away. Maybe you just ought to wait see if that remake really happens. In any case if the remake doesn't happen 50 bucks is still worth this game.
EDIT: Now that I think about why haven't they rereleased the PS game of it at least. Or at the very least make available for download on the playstation store. It really makes me wonder if they are doing a remake, as this good be a serious hype machine for it. Make the game scarce and rare, then remake it on the PS3. Hmmmm.....interesting.

Even better; download a PSX emulator and download the game for that. That's what I did for FFVIII. :)

Yeah but unless you have a modded playstation to play it on it won't do any good. That whole region difference. Curse you PAL! >:(

For one I have no clue what a torret program is and I have a 60GB PS3 for your information.
And I don't know why, I mean I really have no interest with anything here in America (been to too many other places), but Salt Lake City seriously is my favorite place in America. It absolutely beautiful. (except I'm not all for the Mormon thing. :/ )

There is no way to download an emulator onto the PS3.. unless you want to totally wipe your ps3 in the first place.. *Highly not recommended...* They were talking about a torrent and emulator for your computer. But I find it's alot easier to play on an actual console than playing Emulated games.. Unless it's the unreleased SNES games. Then it's a good thing :P

Have you checked your local Best Buy? I saw FFVII Greatest Hits Edition on sale in my Best Buy a little while ago for $19.99 I'm in Michigan.
If that doesn't work there are three ways you can get FFVII. All three require some effort.
1. Download PS2 Version. Requires knowledge of Bittorrent and a Modded PS2.
2. Download PC Version. Requires knowledge of Bittorrent and a PC (or a Mac with Bootcamp)
3. Download PSP Version. Requires knowledge of Bittorrent and a hacked PSP.
Your best bet is option #2. Just read up on a bittorrent tutorial. There's about 100 million tutorials available all over the internet. Just use google. You will get detailed instructions telling you what to do step-by-step.

I would laugh so much if it didn't. Imagine all the disappointed fanboys and girls. xD I wouldn't be all that disappointed because I think there are other FF games more deserving of a remake. FFVIII, for example.

To tell the truth I agree, however I wouldn't say no to a remake of 7 either! I do want a true remake of FF6 though. Best games ever. Even if it was for the DS or something......on topic though....
I haven't found any good PS Emulators for mac yet. It's just not as important to mac geeks I guess. Somehow though I think you want the real experience.

Dude I'm playing FFX on PCX2 right now on my pc. It's freaking awesome. I get 50fps on average which isn't bad AT ALL considering its an emulator :D

Utah... I live in Idaho. Yeah I don't live where my info. says. My bro lives in Utah, and I used to live there. Haven't been in a while though.
As for FFVII. I saw a few at Gamestop for about $20 or so. That doesn't really help you, but we have some non-expensive ones here.

Probably a little of both. And besides that all the game stores in Idaho are a little backwards! Sometime they really piss me off! >:(

sure i guess if you want to i don't really mind i have about 3 copies.( i usually have about 2 or 3 copies of final fantasies or other games b/c one is never to be opened, one is to play and the third is usually if they stop making the game or don't sell it any where i have my extra copie incase my first breaks.)
