I'd probably just collect Anime/Manga. If I had unlimited resources. As of right now I don't collect anything.

What do you collect and why?
When I say collections, a set of books don't count as for manga unless these are rare books. I was referring to for example I have a huge collection of large size anime and Final Fantasy character figures. I collect them since they look good in my room sitting on my shelf and apparently they will be worth a lot of money at some point.

Well they weren't cheap to buy some of them so I can imagine they will be worth something. Also a lot of them are still in their boxes, well on the Final Fantasy ones.

I would collect the rest of the collection. :laugh:

lol, I swear the first thought that came to mind was owing people cuz I do and I was about to rant about it. :laugh:

Anyways, I love to collect game magazines.. I have tons of them =O and some Cosmo ones (that’s a girl bible for the ones that don’t know ;))

I have magazines like The Official Playstation Mag, Game Informer, EGM & Play. I get GI monthly and the other ones I buy when they have awesome covers about games that I like or for the juicy info.

I think I started collecting them because the OPM & PSM used to give out free Demos and videos for the games so I have lots of those as well hehe. I have some Final Fantasy ones that are awesome, whenever I feel like watching it I just pop the DVD in the Playstation and watch it, lol ooohh yeeaaahh :P

Oh and I love to collect the guides for the games I get, and on some (depending on the game) I would get an extra one cuz I would dismantle one of them, lol. Currently I have these:

I read them once, great for relationship advice. :laugh: Also I studied women mags when I used to study Media, I read too many of them. (sarcatic smiley)

I used to collect them. In fact I have in immaculate condition MGS 1 official strategy guide. I found it when I was clearing out once and I looked it up on ebay. It was going for a whooping £60. I still haven't decided or not to sell it.

Haha, I used to collect stamps and rocks when I was a kid.... But since we're talking about *seemingly pricey* I'll have to say, Original My little Ponies and She-Ra figures. I have a good $300+ Worth of the Little Ponies and the huge castle, maybe like 25 of the dolls and three of 5 of the mounts for She-Ra. I'd love to get my hands on all of them..

But if I was to say I collected something.. It'd be Video games.... I've gone from the game amount of about 22 PS2 and 3 PSone (Original not burnt) video games to... *Goes to count* 6 PSone, 40 ps2, 8 PS3 and 8 Gamecube games and that is in the last three to four months ><

If I honestly wanted to, I'd list them all. But that might be a whole thread in itself. (wonders if we have one already made for that?)

(P.S.) I also wanted to say that my mom is a serious collector. She has every episode of every Star Trek on Tape/DVD. That's Original, Original cartoon, TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise. She also has all of Babylon 5, B5: Crusade, Hercules: the legendary Journeys (Full Dvd series box sets) and Xena: Warrior Princess. She also has almost every hard cover version of every Stephen King book published (Sadly no first editions :(). She's also working on all the C.S.I series and has the first two seasons of Lost in DVD sets. My mom also has all 15 of the script books for B5. They are not being made anymore and if you had bought the first 14 the fifteenth one was free and hand signed by the creator of B5 himself. LO! if someone was to ever break into my place.... they could have a killing on all the stuff here... (Don't even think about it guys ,,,';..;',,, ;))

I have a crapload of cheesy souvenirs from all over. It's probably not worth much, but it reminds me of everywhere I've been.

As for the last one I suppose would collect designer shoes. :D
