Holy shit! This morning my car was frozen! >_< I couldn't open the door for anything, I was soo freaked out cuz I was late for work...I dont mind the snow but the ice, that just kills everything :(

So ya, it took me like 15 mins til I finally got the damn door open, jeez >_> and that was the first thing, I still had to warm it up & clean the frosted windows.

You really, really don't want to see the weather here. You'd probably cry.

The roads are glare ice and every morning your car is frozen and or covered in snow. Hell our garage door froze on us on two different occasions so far.

Woke up this morning and the field across the road was covered in frost. Looked well nice. :D I was surprised the roads and pavements weren't covered, though. But we've had ice a fair few times this winter already.

Are you serious? I probably would cry then. I had to buy new windshield wipers cuz the ones I had froze many times & just gave up :( And my window cleaner isn't working since the pipes are frozen, so the windshield is dirty as hell. Its hard to drive that way, and I can't keep stopping to throw water on it, lol >.<

Wow, that's the norm here. Just wait till you got 4 feet of snow covering the ice laced streets and sidewalks.

The actual locking mechanism in my truck was froze shut. I have a remote entry and BOTH of my doors were frozen, locked. I had to use the remote start, thank God the heat was on from the night before, and I had to wait for the things to thaw... I've heard of the key hole being locked, but not the lock itself.

my mum has a bad habit of buying the cans of de-icer... and then leaving them in the car and complaining she cant find them!!!

but yeah we had problems with the ice on the road when we went away the other day. she practically slid the car down the street it was that icy and she lives on about a 35 degree incline!!! not the most enjoyable car ride ive had.

Ice isn't the worst thing in the morning. Leaving a house a 8am to walk outside where the air is freezing and a lot of wind. Those who have cars are fking privileged! Honestly not a fan of winter.

Cars can be a hassle and be horrid in icy conditions especially in NEPA. Especially hitting a patch of black ice coming off the expressway. The one problem I always have during wintertime with my car up north is that the locks freeze on the inside so either the key won't turn or i can't even get the key into the lock. I've come up with solutions for these such as a cup of hot water or a lighter but it still sucks. Luckily i'm down south during the holidays so i've got nothing to worry about. :)
