Torres and Messi: The faces of PES 2010 due to new licensing

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, set to hit this autumn, looks to take one-up on rival football franchise, FIFA, as they have now secured an exclusive Europa League (UEFA) license. And with that, Fernando Torres and Leo Messi will be headlining and profiling as the poster-boys for the latest edition of PES. So, will the new licensing convince you to buy PES over FIFA? Will you buy both anyway? Or is there another reason you prefer one game over the other?

Pro is awful now, Fifa is leaps and bounds ahead of it.

This is coming from someone who a year and a half ago would've slapped someone saying Fifa was better than Pro, thats how bad it is now.

I still thing Pro just feels more natural. FIFA's either piss easy, or suicidally hard. Meh, I don't play either of them much. :P

I had someone moaning at me the other day on Xbox Live because he was winning so I snapped him everytime he got the ball.

I have been a pro evo person pratically every year and I spent my last year at uni pretty much playing season upon season on PES though I have to say the fact that a team like newcastle getting relegated will make me buy Fifa this time around.

I like the play of PES despite the annoying shit like the AI of your team being zero and the idea of running into space never occured to them...it was still a great game.

Though having a fifa on in the house last year as well swayed me a bit since it made a change to see EA actually make a good looking sports game and plays well. Plus a few lower league teams are missed in PES (MK Dons :P) so I am thinking a game with europa and lower leagues gets my win this time so Fifa 10 here we go. Despite how over complicated fifa can be on menus. >_>

Plus the music on PES gets more annying each year. haha.
