Far Cry 2 announced for PS3

Late last night, when most of the world slept in their beds, Ubisoft quietly announced that the sequel to one of its greatest PC shooters is coming to Playstation 3 and Xbox360. The game was scheduled for PC in March, but now that other formats have been announced, we may be seeing a slight delay in the games release. Q3-4 2008 is looking extremely likely.

The game is set in Africa, where you can expect to find all of the mechanics and game implementations of the original blockbuster, all in a neat BluRay extravaganza. It will be interesting to see what Ubisoft do with the franchise for home console versions of the mouse and keyboard setup.

Thanks Adam. I appreciate you helping me get this news uploaded. Not sure where Dave has gotten too. May be on holiday I suppose. As for NRev, I will be back very soon. I do visit occasionally but I must admit, I dont post on their anymore simply because its gone downhill as of late. Its a real dump in places..with no constructive criticism or debates..just countless reams of childlike material. I will see if it improves. If it doesn't I wont be going back, if it does, then you will see me again on there soon. Besides, I owe Bucko a VC game.
