I would like to review Call of Duty 4 for many reason, it was just before the PS3 launched that I had began to develop an interest in the games other then my yearly edition of Madden, since then I got a PS3 within the first couple weeks, and have been reading up reviews and listening to podcast on IGN. The reason for my interest in Call of Duty 4 is that ever since I saw the trailer displayed at E3 I have been extremely hyped for this game, following all the news surrounding it on all platforms and as time gets closer and closer I grow more anxious of its launch. I am especially interested in this title for its online play and perks system, which promises to keep its users drawn in for many months, much like the Rainbow 6 Vegas unlock system which I am still playing with to this day until CoD4. I have already paid for my preorder in full at eb games and will be able to be able to play to beat the story within the first few days, however, I should point out that I am buying it in Canada and games here tend to be released a day after USA. I will be able to put a significant amount of time into the online the weekend after launch.
Other games I could write up on are; skate. – I have fully beaten this game along with many hours of just rooming the city, but for a review I would have to hop online and see how that works, Motorstorm – I am about 2/3 through this and could have a full review by mid Saturday, the latest Saturday night. Manhunt 2 (PSP) Jackass (PSP) The Simpsons Game (PSP) |

Hey Gangrane.
That sounds excellent, Call of Duty 4 is definately one of the games we want as much information on as possible, and a good review for, since its one of the heavy hitters this holiday. Also we could definately use reviews for Skate, Motorstorm, and the PSP games, welcome to the staff! If you have any questions feel free to post them in the staff forum, or send a PM my way. Adding reviews is fairly simple, theres a thread in the Staff Forums > Content subforum with detailed instructions on how to post content if you're not sure. |

I would like to be put forward as a staff reviewer/previewer full tme, and would like to contribute 100% of my material to this site for the benefit of the PSB community. Its a great chance for me, as I have always wanted to be a games journalist, and at my current location am unable to be so, as I am so far away from London and the main videogame publication areas. So this could be the start of a great career, or at least, a fantastic platform in which to launch me.
I have sent Derek and Dave sample copies of my Heavenly Sword Review, so see what you think. I own several titles for the PS3, and with the launch of the other sites looming, I also own a Wii and 360 with about 20 games each for those consoles, along with every other major console. I can send photo proof of that. I accept the rules and regulations that you have stated, and am willing to start at anytime. Please can I be considered? Many thanks Last edited by PStars; 12-13-2007 at 11:00 AM.. |

Well, I think we should gather samples from everybody (including myself, well I guess you've already got samples), and decide who's official and what not - it's better to have a relatively small staff of good writers than a huge one of people who won't write much.

Agreed, for now its the holidays so I'll give people a break, but those staff who have been on for a while but haven't done anything will most likely be dropped after this month. I want to try and keep things as structured as possible, so far hasn't been working well. |
