GTA IV region locked says Kotaku?

This is dissapointing as I was hoping to buy it from Play-Asia but it looks like I can't now? No way am I paying $120 for it at the stores which is $113.68 USD and 57.47 GBP

Thats very bad news EoT and i feel sorry for you as well as others that want to buy this game. Fortunatly i am not a fan of this series but for the GTA fans this is a large blow.
In the UK is know it comes out on 29 April for £69.99 ($139.98 USD Equ.) (Special Edition) and with a PS3 its together at the price of £319.99 ($639.98USD Equ.). In AU$ i dont know how much that is but it seems like a rather good deal and worth wating for although i know its comes out worldwide on the same date.
Ths US version of the Special edition is $89.99 (£45 GBP) but i dont think they are doing the bundle....thats with MGS instead i presume. It could be much cheaper for brits to import it from the USA but only by a little bit so to be honest i think with the economy it all balances out right.

Nearly all games especially games that are likely to score game of the year are reigon locked. Why are you so suprised? In fact the only consoles that don't bother with the reigons are the PSP and DS.

I posted this awhile ago and it isn't region locked as my bro bought GTAIV US version cause Aussie one is censored/more expensive. Only thing which he can't do is access Australian servers for multiplayer.
