1 million sneak onto Metal Gear Online

Despite the labourous process of getting on to Metal Gear Online that requires juggling 3 separate IDs and typing your entire life story on the PS3 controller, Konami announced earlier today that in fact 1 million Metal Gear fans have signed up to play the multiplayer portion of the 2008 blockbuster hit. To put that in perspective, that means just about 1 out of 3 MGS4 owners have signed up. In celebration, Konami will be giving away reward points that can be used to purchase items from the shop. All the player has to do is be online between November 25 and December 9.

So Konami, how about rewarding your players by streamlining your ID system?
