Battlefield: Bad Company to support Trophies?

A member of the Gametrailers forum, rEeee, has come across something interesting while linking his EA account and his PSN account. He was able to see his stats online; which included a list of trophies, which can presumably be found in the game.

SamStrife: Call me Mr. Cynical but i suspect this is an in game achievments situation, rather than one tied to the XMB. I've come to doubt everything Sony related until i'm experiancing it first hand.
