Breaking - Sony Pulls 2.4 Update - Plagued With Errors

After just a few short days from the hotly anticipated Firmware update for integrated XMB and Trophies, Sony has pulled its service from the Playstation Network, in response to the massive assault of complaints and errors in its mechanics.

Several sources are reporting that, after numerous complaints on forums around the world Sony has now pulled the hotly-anticipated 2.4 firmware update from the PlayStation Network.

Many people have already downloaded the update, and are currently enjoying the new level of freedom offered in some of their titles with the levelling up Trophie system. However, a select few users have had countless issues regarding the update, and as such, Sony has responded.

"We're aware that some PS3 users are reporting issues after downloading and installing the 2.40 firmware update onto their system.

"We are looking into the matter further and will work with our customers to address any related issues they may be experiencing with their PS3 systems."

We will be contacting Sony directly to see if this intitial breakdown in service will be long term? Will keep you posted

CrapFactory: Way to go Sony! That's what you get for teasing us with your "In-Game XMB" shirts. Who's laughing now? X-Box owners I guess. Either way I downloaded it and it works okay. What huge screw up is next?
