Burnout Paradise To Get Motorbikes
In what will be a series first, Burnout Paradise is getting motorbikes in a free package being readied for an early September release. The first is the FV1100 street bike which you’ll be able to pick up in any junkyard in Paradise City, and the second, the Japanese Firehawk racing bike, will be available from the same place.
According to producer Jeremy Chubb, the Burnout team wanted to cruise the city at different times and in different weather from the moment they had bikes in mind, so both a day/night cycle and dynamic weather system will be thrown in with the package, letting you experience the game when the roads are wet and less busy.
To complement this, there will be different variations of Burning Routes challenges added. Burning Rides will take place in the day and Midnight Rides at night, where checkpoints (which aren’t limited to linear routes) take you all over the city. The icing on the cake is 70 challenges created specially for bikes, 35 of which are timed challenges.
