CES 2009: LittleBigPlanet Sells 1.3 Million Worldwide
Kaz Hirai, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, announced at the Sony CES press conference that LittleBigPlanet has sold a total 1.3 million worldwide so far. The game is also very rich in user content, boasting an impressive 300,000 levels created by other users, equating to approximately 2 years worth of gameplay. It is important to note that the game is continuing to sell very well, and that 1.3 million is very impressive for a brand new IP and for a first time development from a tiny studio such as Media Molecule.
