COD4 finally gets much-needed update

Following in the footsteps of its 360 counterpart, "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" for the PS3 finally received an update that bumps the version up to 1.20. The patch includes:


  • Optimized servers
  • New Kill cams for grenades, RPG's, airstrikes, claymores, etc.
  • Quick Mute feature that allows you to mute players by pressing X on their ID in the lobby.
  • Players you meet in-game now appear on the "Recently Met Players" list on the XMB.
  • Sniper Rifles and ACOG attachments buffs that finally tone down delayed shots.

Personally, we feel that sniping shouldn't really be encouraged and improved, but hell. To each his own, we guess!


aussie_tyrant: finally theres muting....I'm sick of those losers that just make stupid noises to put others off, and i was wondering why there weren't any kill cams for those.
