Darth Vader to be playable character in The Force Unleashed

In a stunning new announcement just today, Lucas Arts has confirmed that in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Unleashed game for the Playstation 3 gamers will be able to step into the shoes of Darth Vader and make use of all his awesome powers. The game is set between episodes 3 and 4 of the Star Wars movies, and focuses on the apprentice of Darth Vader. The game promises to deliver over the top force powers right into the hands of gamers, and also to realistically replicate their effects on the environment around them. In the stunning announcement made earlier today, they also made it know that players will be able to take control of Darth Vader, force chokes and all. The game, which already looked quite promising, is looking even better now.
