Dead Space Music Tracks Available

With the release of Dead Space on the horizon, EA has revealed that the game soundtrack will be available for purchase on the EATrax website (http://www.ea.com/eatrax/) on the same day of the game release. The aptly named Jason Graves is providing nearly three hours worth of original orchestral music to go along with the creepy creatures investing the space vessel USG Ishimura. His work is a mix of atmospheric strings, blaring trumpets, and metal clanking that is reminiscent of James Horner’s excellent soundtrack for Aliens. The three tracks available on his website are quite dynamic, suggesting gameplay that will keep players on their toes and provide nightmare material for months to come. We are looking forward to the full release of Dead Space next week on October 14th.

Those interested in hearing the sample tracks along with the other work he’s provided for video games and film can find them on Jason’s website: http://jasongravesmusic.com/music/
