Disgaea 3 to receive monthly updates

Strategy Role Playing Game Disgaea 3 is to receive monthly updates in Japan via the PlayStation Network. The updates promise not only new character classes, but also new scenarios and levels to take them on.

The updates are said to last till January '09 and cost a measly 100 yen each (90cents/50p.)

This is impressive since the Disgaea series are know for their replay value, where you could put 100's of hours into the first 2, and still not have done everything the game has to offer.

Whether these updates will come to the US, or whether the initial 2 will be bundled with the game when it comes out in August is yet to be seen.
