E3 '08: Socom Creator Announces MAG

Just announced at E3 is Massive Action Game (MAG.) MAG is said to push the PS3's hardware to it's limits with massive 256 player battles. That's real players!

Developed by Zipper Studios, the game's trailer teases land and air combat, with a wide array of vehicles at the player disposal.

As for the number of players, the game will use a system similar to Resistance 2's squad based combat, where players are split into teams of 8. As a player levels up online, his rank increases and he has the choice to take a higher role in the squad.
