Fallout: New Vegas Details Confirmed

Various gaming publications are starting to get a hold of more and more details of the new Fallout game, Fallout: New Vegas.

Some of the more notable facts are:

• It's a First Person Shooter using the same combat system as Fallout 3
• There is a new "Hardcore Mode" where your character needs to drink water, your ammo has weight and healing isn't instant,
• The story is focused on three fractions: the New California Republic (a nation from Fallout 2), Caesar's Legions, and the residents of New Vegas
• The game will take place in Mojave wastelands
