Final Fantasy VII Remake Confirmed?

New screenshots of a supposed secret ending to Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, have revealed that Square-Enix may be in fact planning a Final Fantasy VII remake. The rumour is that once a player completes Crisis Core two times, after the credits a video which is very similiar to the Final Fantasy VII: Tech Demo shown at E3 '05 is shown, followed a message displaying "To Be Continued in Final Fantasy VII".

It is always possible this just means that the next stage of the story is to play Final Fantasy VII, since Crisis Core is a direct prequel to the original game. We'll see if any annoucements are made at the Tokyo Game Show in the coming weeks.
