Final Fantasy XIII goes to 360, VS XIII still exclusive

In what may the biggest E3 news in recent years, Square-Enix president Yoichi Wada stunned the packed stands of the LA Convention Center with his announcement that Final Fantasy XIII will now be headed to the 360. Long regarded as one of the pillars of Sony's game library, this announcement is a serious blow to Sony and PlayStation fans around the world. Following the Microsoft show, Square-Enix had its own Q&A press conference. FFXIII producer Yoshinori Kitase and Square-Enix executive Shinji Hashimoto were at the helm answering questions. While they did confirm that FFXIII is going to the 360, they also re-confirmed that Final Fantasy Versus XIII will remain a PS3 exclusive. Sony's E3 conference begins tomorrow at 2:30 PM EST. If they have a response to this, expect it then.
