Firmware update for the PS3

Sony has sent off a press release in regards to the 2.00 firmware update that will be available on November 8th which clears up the big mystery as to what the update will have.

The press release sheds new light the firmware update, along with allowing remote activation VIA a PSP, the update will also allow complete customization of the XMB menu screen. Along with this costumization, PS3 owners will now be able to upload music and create unlimited amounts of playlists and share high quality photos with other PlayStation 3 owners, easier navigation in the PlayStation Network and a internet security update for the PlayStation 3 systems hooked upto the internet.
