GDC: GT 5 Wheel Revealed

With GDC finally kicking off Logitech has revealed the official wheel for Gran Turismo 5.

Today at the Game Developer's Conference, Logitech gave fans a look at what is the GT5 wheel, known as the Logitech Driving Force GT.
Along with this announcement a release date for Europe and North America was announced. The dates are March 28th for Europe, where as North America fans will have to wait until April 17th for its release.

"We’re excited to be working with Polyphony Digital again to deliver a wheel that will satisfy the needs of car enthusiasts, like me, around the world,” said Ruben Mookerjee, Logitech’s director of product marketing for gaming.

“People who love the striking realism of the Gran Turismo racing series will discover that Logitech’s latest wheel will allow them to experience the cars the way they were meant to be driven. With the Logitech Driving Force GT, you’re not playing games anymore - you’re racing!”

We know that last bit was cheesey but hey still sounds good. The price for this wheel however is quite steep at $149.99 USD. Quite high for any casual fans but for the hardcore it's a must.
