Ghostbusters Now PlayStation 3-Exclusive?

Activision Blizzard recently had to put the Ghostbusters game aside, but Sony Pictures could be in line to rescue the game and release it in 2009, marking the 25th anniversary of the original film.

A Sony Pictures spokesperson was quoted by Variety to have said it is working with Activision Blizzard “to evaluate various options surrounding the release of the Ghostbusters videogame”. We could be wrong, but it seems likely if Sony Pictures picks up the title, it will be made a PlayStation exclusive by default. Is this a sign of a PSP version to come? We look forward to finding out more.

Mortim: Also, fresh speculation that a new film is in the works, the likes of Seth Rogan will star as new Ghostbusters looking to take on the mantel of the original cast, who have all reportedly agreed to working on the franchise again (clearly for the game too).
Mortim: Hah! I ain't afraid of no quotes.
Not Ashley: Time for some punishment Tom… Who you gonna call, Ghostbusters? Ba ha ha ha!
