The official US PlayStation Blog has announced that an update for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is now available. In addition to numerous gameplay enhancements, they have included three new cars: The Lotus Evora, Ferrari California, and GT by Citroen (a concept car developed by Polyphony Digital and Citroen). Presumably this is a free update, but it is not specifically mentioned in the blog. While new content is great, the update will reset certain features such as quick tuning and key layout settings, rankings, and drift and arcade time trial records. Here’s a list of what GT5 Prologue enthusiasts can expect:
Cars:
Lotus Evora – 100,000 credits
Ferrari California – 300,000 credits
GT – 1,000,000 credits
Gameplay/Features:
Time Trial – Speed penalties are removed
Race Events – Tweaked difficulty levels and increased earnings
Drift Trials – Cars will now have a rolling start
Control – Improved handing for wireless controllers
Audio – Better volume balance between sound effects and music
