Guerilla Games speaks on rumoured Killzone 2 release date

Following reports that Killzone 2 will be released in September, Guerilla Games’ Seb Downie visited the official PlayStation forums to voice his views on the matter. “Sorry folks, as before, please take any release dates, or months with a grain of salt. If we haven’t announced it, it is not gospel” he said.

Another member of the team known as EON added “I was concerned because [Downie’s] comment could be interpreted as a firm ‘no’ – when the truth is that we CANNOT CONFIRM OR DENY a release date. Until the Community Team liaison for Killzone 2 hears from the Killzone 2 marketing contact that it’s time to release the date”.

This gives us hope that Killzone 2 could indeed be spinning inside our PS3s come September. Why? Well, by saying this Guerilla didn’t confirm the release date rumour. However, it also didn’t deny it. We sit and wait…
