Home to launch this year as a 'Open Woking Beta'

Senior director of PlayStation Network Susan Panico while talking to blog.wired.com has confirmed that HOME will still be launching in 2008, however she noted that it will be rolled out in a simalar way Gmail has. While we can all hope that it doesn't follow Gmail's footsteps in being in beta for what seems an age now, playstation owners first chance to experience HOME (those who weren't lucky enough to get into the closed beta) will be at the end of the year in its beta stage with the final version most likey hitting in 2009.
