Is this Sony's Wiimote?

Gametrailers user ZeroTM has posted this video of a man demonstrating a new controller, that could be Sony's answer to the Wiimote.



The controller breaks in half and acts as 2 separate motion devices, the controller can then be quickly clicked back together.

Questions arise though over, does the PlayStation need another controller, and even then does it have to be motion sensitive? What games would support this? How would people who've just bought the Dual Shock 3 react to buying a new controller in a few months time. And finally, how credible is this video?

I guess we're going to have to wait until E3 next month.
