Left 4 Dead Not Coming To PlayStation 3

The Official PlayStation Magazine recently rumoured Left 4 Dead for the PlayStation 3, but that rumour was gunned down by Doug Lombardi of Valve. Speaking to IGN, he said, “There is no PS3 version of Left 4 Dead currently in production”.

We wouldn’t rule it out completely, however. EA is bound to jump in at some point and take on development to port it to the PS3, but for now it appears PS3 owners are left without dead. Sorry!

rbrtchng: I'm beginning to think that Valve simply doesn't have the talent to make a PS3 game. Valve actually doesn't even have the talent to make good PC games anymore. Source is looking very outdated, and Steam isn't even carried by Valve products anymore. It's mostly proprietary software by other developers.

seedaripper1973: whole heartedly agree mortim, why on earth do valve shun us PS3 owners??? if they had the know how (like epic) then they could get mouse and keyboard up and running, but 'no' they love their 'ex' employers to much..whos that you say?? yes those monopolistic, work shy, bugged to hell (but hey heres a patch) b@stards that are microsoft...excuse ones french, but f*ck em! :(

Mortim: This was always a PC title for me, but having spent a small fortune on a computer I know for most its a lot easier to buy a console port. The dead certainly won't rest whilst gems like this are kept exclusive... Buck your ideas up Valve!
