Life With PlayStation Delayed Until August

Back in June, Sony Computer Entertainment executive Kaz Hirai announced Life With PlayStation, a weather and news service similar to the Wii’s two channels of the same purpose. Just a quick recap for those of you not in the know, Life With PlayStation is presented with a 3D Earth that can be viewed along with background music.

The service did not appear when it was promised (by the end of June), and SCEA’s Senior Development Manager Noam Rimon has cleared this up on the official PlayStation blog. Procedural matters are preventing the service from being available, but now we’re told ‘the new service will make its way to PlayStation fans in August’.

CrapFactory: Delaystation Woo! Now how am I supposed to know how hot it is outside?! Can anyone tell me if it's raining? The cat I keep in a box outside died so it can no longer give me information on the conditions outside. LWP HELP!
