Madden gets a Backbreaker

A football game made using the same Euphoria motion technology found in blockbusters like Metal Gear Solid 4 and Grand Theft Auto IV? Yes, please! NaturalMotion is passing their hat into the sports ring with Backbreaker, described as “the first football game to feature non-canned, fully interactive tackles.” With EA having the exclusive rights to use real NFL players and teams, this game will likely focus on fictional teams similar to the Blitz series. A trailer showcasing the tackling variety gamers can expect has been released and it’s worth checking out for football fans. The graphics are a bit lacking at this point, but it’s to be expected from a game this early in development. No release date has been announced.
