Major Prologue update revealed

The mother of Gran Turismo Kazunori Yamauchi has revealed that a "major update" will be released for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue later this year, which will add among other things the long-awaited vehicle damage still absent from the game. This will help it reach those key players that would rather play the Bizarre racer, Gotham Racing with in-game damage aplenty.

Having had an exclusive interview with CVG site this afternoon, Yamauchi has stated that the update will also focus heavily on enhancing Prologue's online modes, adding additional community building features that will enhance the games longevity and competition rankings.

It certainly looks as though Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is no longer that 'demo' we mentioned earlier in our review, which you can look at in closer detail in the reviews section.
