Metal Gear Solid 4 was released nearly 4 months ago now. Receiving praise from gaming publications worldwide(including a perfect 10 from PSBeyond), the title went on to sell over 3 million copies and is without a doubt one of the defining titles of 2008 and gaming history in general. Ryan Payton, assistant producer at Kojima Production, has left the studio, citing family issues as the reason. Payton gained popularity due to his work with the PS3 exclusive Metal Gear Solid 4. Konami has a reason to celebrate today as they listed Metal Gear Solid 4 sales for the quarter at 3.94 million, just over what Kaz Hirai had previously said last month. According to a French website GameBlog.fr, there is a secret scene in MGS4 that can't be accessed regularly. Supposedly, the new sequence will automatically unlock itself on December 12, exactly 6 months from the launch of MGS4. Sounds fishy, but at the conclusion of MGS4, its revealed that a very significant event will occur in 6 months(which, for spoilers sake, won't be mentioned), adding a bit more fuel to this fire.
