Metal Gear Solid Essential Collection Confirmed

Konami confirmed yesterday that due to the imminent release of Metal Gear Solid 4 worldwide, they are to release a special edition Essential Collection boxset of classic MGS titles in the series

As yet it has not been confirmed for Europe, but the US will certainly be treated to the collection of MGS, MGS2 Directors Cut and MGS3. The set also comes with artwork, art cards, and will retail at USD 29.99

The collection will be released in Q2 2008, and will pre-launch before the worldwide release of MGS4, of which we have the groundbreaking first preview of on PSB.
