Metal Gear Solid Online beta starting April 21

In the words of Futurama’s Professor Farnsworth, good news everyone! Konami has announced that April 21 is the date when the Metal Gear Solid Online beta will be starting, running for around 14 days.

Consumers who pre-order Metal Gear Solid 4 will be given a limited edition DVD also containing a special code for the beta, and apparently the beta is also going to be made available for people without pre-orders, though this isn’t for certain.

Metal Gear Online will feature 16-player multiplayer and it’s looking, for lack of a better word, awesome. As ever, we’ll be keeping you updated.
