Metal Gear Solid box art, betas and more


This article is going to be extremely Metal Gear Solid 4-heavy, with several pieces of news with regards to the title hitting today. First up, two versions of box art for the game have been revealed, the first for the standard version of the game and the second for what we expect to be the collector’s edition, with an extra disc and box. Prices for these two versions of the game are expected to be released March 21. Next up we learned that those who pre-order MGS 4 will be guaranteed a Metal Gear Online starter pack. According to the PlayStation Blog ‘If you can’t wait to try out MGS 4, the good news is you don’t have to much longer. Those who pre-order the game will be guaranteed access to a multiplayer test for Metal Gear Online scheduled for late April’. Finally we found out that the MGS 4 PS3 bundle we previously reported on might not be coming to Europe. “We have no plans to release either bundle at the moment” said a SCEE spokesperson speaking to videoaming247. Who knows? Well, Sony and Konami, but let’s pretend it’s going to happen! Not long now, hopefully…
