Mirror's Edge
EA informed PlayStation Blog today that Mirror’s Edge developer DICE is planning on releasing exclusive downloadable content for the PS3 version of Mirror's Edge in late January.
This DLC is said to be in the form of a special Time Trial map, from the article:
"Players will be challenged to achieve the fastest times possible on nine races across seven all-new and totally redesigned Time Trial maps....

The demo for DICE's highly anticipated free-running platformer is out! Check out the UK PSN store to download the demo of Mirror's Edge. Expect the demo in the US store when it updates.
EA has already delivered one grade A experience this month with Dead Space. Can it follow up and deliver a double whammy with Mirror's Edge? We won't have long to find out - Mirror's Edge is due out in a bit less than two weeks on November 11....

We got in touch with our friends over at DICE today, and it can now be confirmed that their upcoming title, Mirror's Edge, has got trophies. This will come as a welcome relief to many PS3 owners as some thought the system would only be implemented properly as of 2009. Now however, we can look forward to a host of titles coming at Christmas for our trophy needs....

There has been some confusion in regards to the demo of Mirror's Edge. Some publications have misinterpreted the release and announced that the demo was due out September 26. However, EA has just confirmed with us that "The demo will be out prior to launch (no official date yet) and the pre-order begins Sept 26".
So unfortunately, it looks like traversing the roof tops in style will be delayed a bit longer....

EA has sent out a press release today, confirming the release date of Mirror's Edge. Despite rumors earlier this week that indicated the title may be held back until 2009, the game is due November 11 for the PS3 and XBox 360. The PC release is still TBA.
Also, EA has confirmed that a demo is on the way. The demo will include a tutorial and the first level(the one from all the trailers). For those that pre-order the game, a special time attack mode will also be unlocked in the demo, which will allow you to compete for the fastest completion time over the 'net, complete with replays and ghosts....

Heise.de, a popular German tech site, has posted a recent interview from Leipzig Games Convention with Sony UK's David Reeve's. In the interview, Reeves discussed how Sony appeals to various demographics by delivering quality exclusive, from casual games like SingStar to more hardcore games like Mirror's Edge. Later, he clarifies, saying that Mirror's Edge will be a timed PS3 exclusive, and that the PC and 360 release will be much later.
