One million Gran Turismo 5 Prologue pre-orders

This is no joke (hence why it’s not funny) but not one PS3 game has reached one million pre-orders… until now! Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has said that Gran Turismo 5 Prologue has reached the platinum milestone for pre-orders, making it the first PS3 game to do so.

Sales figures are set to explode following this, and we’re not sure if the developer will be able to roll those discs out of the production line fast enough! That’s lucky, because GT 5 Prologue is also going to be a downloadable title like Warhawk, a game with incredibly impressive download statistics. Will GT 5 Prologue beat it though? Hell, we think so!
