Persona 4, the latest entry in Atlus' quirky RPG series, was officially slated for a US release earlier today at the Anime Expo. Atlus hopes to freshen up the series with several new additions to the gameplay. Though Persona 4 will run on the same engine as its predecessor, Atlus is looking to clean up many of the issues found in Persona 3 - notably, the ability to actually control your teammates in battle rather then having the computer control them.
In what may be the PS2's final swan song, Persona 4 will be released later this year in December.
