PixelJunk Monsters gets a Free Update – Trophies Included!

The charmingly difficult PixelJunk Monsters is set to receive an update later this month In Japan that will add several new features at no cost to the consumer. This free update will include features already found in PixelJunk’s other popular downloadable title, PixelJunk Eden. Amongst the additions is trophy support, rumored to be 14 trophies at minimum, the ability to record and upload videos directly to YouTube, and the option to play music from your PS3 music library. There will also be minor adjustments to gameplay and overall difficulty. There is no mention of when this update will hit the West, but hopefully sometime in the coming weeks.
