Portal’s Still Alive coming to Rock Band

Free stuff! Now we’ve got your attention, free stuff! As a thank you of sorts to those who have bought Rock Band, Harmonix is bringing Stay Alive, Portal’s ending credits song, to the game for free on April 17. It would have been out sooner, but with the PlayStation Store being coloured in with Crayola to give it a new interface, it has to wait until after the process has been completed.

Of course, we knew this was coming to Rock Band. The song’s writer Jonathan Coulton even went to the extent of performing it on stage – using Rock Band’s peripherals – at this year’s GDC. But that doesn’t make it any less exciting to know, and there’s only a short amount of time to wait.

Not Ashley: Both!
Scather: I can't decide what the best part of this is, the fact it's free, or that it's such an awesome song, from an awesome game.
