Resident Evil 4 Classic Edition coming to the PS3?

Dot50Cal at The Horror Is Alive’s forums said he was talking to a friend who works at Capcom San Francisco, who sent him an image of some box art for an upcoming PS3 and X360 title called Resident Evil 4 Classic Edition.

Apparently, details are sketchy but the game will feature Hunk more than before, and he might be getting his own story like Ada’s Separate Ways in the PS2, PC and Wii versions of the game. According to the original poster, he’s trying to obtain direct captures of the box art… that’s right, currently it’s the age old mobile phone capture, which is what makes us feel this is nothing but a rumour. It would appear our thoughts are echoed by an Administrator on the official Capcom forums, who said ‘Really? We work in San Francisco? I didn’t know that. Why does my business card say we’re in San Mateo? Darn it, I need to get it updated. We have no artists that work in Dev here… furthermore, all Resident Evil comes out of Japan. None of it comes from CEI’.

Not Ashley: I know what you're saying dude. There's only really been two versions released though if you think about it - Resi 4 on different formats is still essentially the same version, and then there's Resi 4 Wii Edition. This would really be a third, and while Capcom would be milking it if this turns out true, it has every reason to in my opinion - it's a brilliant game! Still, it looks doubtful, but I hope it's true as I want some Resi to keep me occupied until Resi 5 is released, whenever that will be, and I missed out on the fourth game completely...
Tycoon: How much more are they going to Milk this game? It's an awesome game, but four different version HAVE ALREADY BEEN RELEASED. Now two more? I swear...
Not Ashley: I hope it turns out to be true, but I doubt it is. Resi 4's quite old now, but at the same time, it doesn't seem it... such a great horror game!
Mac: The PS3 version looks like it's in a metal case. Awesome.
