Resident Evil 5 – Evil Evolves

It appears that the evolution of the Resident Evil series is not stopping with next-gen graphics and a spunky co-op sidekick. According to the Australian Official PlayStation Magazine set to go on sale October 8th, Resident Evil fans will finally get the opportunity to battle through hordes of crazed villagers using an optional new control scheme. The secondary scheme will be similar to Gears of War, presumably giving the former STARS team member, Chris Redfield, the ability to strafe and fire while moving. It’s nice to see Capcom address one of the primary criticisms leveled by game fans and journalists against the next edition in the extremely popular Resident Evil series.
