Resistance 2 Release Date And Collector’s Edition Detailed

Just as you were beginning to get restless, Insomniac games has released some brand new information about Resistance 2, detailing the Resistance 2 Collector’s Edition and announcing its North American release date. To get you in a good mood, 4 November is when the invasion begins (well, continues)!

Now on to the Resistance 2 Collector’s Edition. Inside the box is a copy of Resistance 2 (luckily) with the cover artwork chosen by fans in a poll from several months ago; The Art Of Resistance 2, a double-sided hardback telling the story from two different perspectives; an exclusive – not on eBay for at least a few hours after release! – Chimera figure; exclusive in-game multi-player weapon, the HVAP Wraith; and the Resistance 2 Bonus DVD.

On this disc you’ll find America Forever Lost (a making of feature) and Shattered History (the story of the Chimera invasion so far), issue 0 of Wildstorm’s Resistance comic book in digital form, and a preview of the upcoming novel Resistance: The Gathering storm. A limited release, it will retail at $79.99 and certainly looks like a special edition worth having!

Mortim: Sold! The best part of that image is that Sony are finally sporting their "Only on PlayStation" and PSN stuff. Something Microsoft does regardless of the facts and it's worked well for them...
