Revealed: Rockstar's PS3 exclusive, Agent
Sony teased everyone with the shocker news that Rockstar, the people behind the Grand Theft Auto series, is making a PS3 exclusive game called Agent. Nothing except a logo is shown.
But
today's interview with Take-Two's Ben Feder, Agent is revealed to be an espionage game set in the 1970s. Maybe it has something to do with the Watergate scandal? Vietnam War? Who knows, but the prospect is quite exciting. And knowing Rockstar's pedigree, Agent's subject matter will probably taps into the controversial shades of gray, and the game will probably be delayed several times until it's polished down to the pixels.
When asked why they've given us nothing but a name so far, Feder said that he thinks "it will be worth waiting for. When your readers - gamers generally - see what Agent is, what promise it has, I think it will be worth the wait."
Now, when you think Rockstar, the faithful gamer would instantly think 'GTA'. For those curious as to how Agent compares to Rockstar's other smash hit series, Feder claims it is "very, very different storylines, very different character development. It's going to be very fresh for gamers."
Ben Feder wouldn't comment on any upcoming DLC for the GTA:IV, nor any future additions to the series.
"Right now Rockstar's focus is on The Ballad of Gay Tony episode, Red Dead Redemption and Agent."
