Rock Band Drums = Real Band Drums

Developer Andrew Rudson has a created a program for Windows which allows users to plug in their Rock Band drums and use them as real drums.

The program sports a slick 3D interface, uses simple .wav files for the various types of drums and even features a recording function. Using this you can play back your favourite drum beats and share them with the world.

It's worth noting that at the time of typing the PS3 Drums are supported but they require some additional setup and are somewhat buggy. This is sure to change in future iterations though.
