Rumor: 2.40 not out until July?

According to developers on the Neogaf forums, firmware 2.40 is not 100%, and it's release date all depends on how fast "Sony's ninjas" work.

According to one developer, "Well put it like this, the version I touched needed to be fixed, it's possible that it could come out by end of (the) month but who's to say how fast the Sony ninjas are? I only had one gripe but there are still tweaks that need to be done."

One gripe may not seem alot, but it could be something as big as, the whole thing didn't work.

Don't get too downhearted, this one gripe could already be fixed, and the developer was just using an early build.

Keep in mind Sony have never released an official date for the update, so it's still all speculation at the moment.

As soon as a solid release date is announced, or the update sneaks onto our system (no Metal Gear pun....honest) you'll be sure to hear it here.
