Ryan Payton leaves Kojima Productions
Ryan Payton, assistant producer at Kojima Production, has left the studio, citing family issues as the reason. Payton gained popularity due to his work with the PS3 exclusive Metal Gear Solid 4. Payton was largely responsible for the localization of the title, notably the revamped aiming and control mechanics. Though he has left Kojima Productions, Payton hopes to remain in the game developing business, just a bit closer to home. He leaves his fans with these words,

"It'll be hard not being involved in MGS5, but I've got the utmost confidence that Hideo Kojima, Ken Imaizumi, and our amazing team will put together another blockbuster game. I'll be cheering from the sidelines.
