Saints Row 2 developer couldn't get its head around Cell

Saints Row developer Volition have broken their silence about the broken release of the original Saints Row on the PlayStation 3, citing the main problem being that they couldn't get their head around the Cell.
Producer Dan Sutton told CVG;''In Saints Row 1 we got about half way through the process and then we realised that we just couldn't get our heads around Cell.''
''Cell's really, really powerful. The problem is it's also a really different system, the way it uses multi-threading technology.''
Volition has since hired a dedicated PS3 team to hopefully bring about the release of the sequel in a playable form. "Now we're up to showing PS3 at the same level and only one day behind the Xbox, which is really exciting for us," Producer Dan Sutton said.
Hopefully they've had enough time to get their heads around the Cell this time as we gear up for the release of Saints Row 2 in October.
