Ever been sat on the bus on the way to work and said to your friend “Dude, I really wish I had a God Of War baseball cap on now”? Neither have we, but stop trampling on our parade, let’s talk about games apparel! Sony Computer Entertainment America announced today that many of its successful titles, along with the PlayStation brand, will be printed onto all sorts of apparel – t-shirts, baseball caps, hoodies and even boxers.

Developed by IV Gear Inc, Bioworld, MJC and Fortune Fashions, all responsible for different lines, the clothing will sport the likes of Resistance: Fall Of Man, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and many more successful PS3 games. “PlayStation is an extremely strong and well-known brand,” said Shelly Gayner, Director of Licensing at SCEA. “We feel that this is a great opportunity for us to satiate out core fans and extend and capitalize on PlayStation name recognition by creating a new line of apparel in connection with the PlayStation brands and our top franchise titles”.

John Leonhardt, President of Dimensional Branding Group, added “With the addition of this diverse roster of creative and passionate apparel partners this marks the initiation of PlayStation as one of the most innovative and cutting edge licensing programs”.
