Sony forgiven by Manchester Church

As some may remember, a Manchester church accused Sony of using a digital version of their cathedral in their game, Resistance: Fall of Man and called for a boycott on Sony and Resistance.
Well the cathedral's reverend, the Reverend Rogers Govender has decided to forgive Sony for their "disrespect towards people of faith and victims of gun crime in Manchester." after Resistance failed to win in their category in the British Video Game Awards. To quote the Dean of the Cathedral, "I think some important lessons have been learnt. In an industry that is breaking new frontiers, it is important that long held traditions of film and television are maintained." Reverend Rogers Govender had asked that the British Academy to remove Resistance from the list of nominations but Resistance stayed on.
Interestingly though, the good Reverend has decided to forgive Sony for its crime that he admitted that attendance to the cathedral by young people has increased since the controversy.
